this diy basement in chicago, was a total standout. that place is gone
now, but that show really had everything - great crowd, we rocked, there
was a fantastic opening band, the cops came and shut it down AFTER we
played, a 3 am run to the tiki hut - it was everything you could order
up in one shot.

i still think the first speak in tongues gig, "the
one that got away" where we got that amazing dat that got mysteriously
erased. that whole tour was so fun, it was nice - we were playing for
larger crowds than we sometimes do, and that particular gig i think we
played really well. it's the one from which the video clip went on the
black velvet fuckere*
